Seriously? Heather Locklear? Seriously.

As much as I hated Morrigan's Cross, I LOVED Angels Fall. I read on RT that they're making it into a movie for Lifetime. HURRAH!

With Heather Locklear as the heroine.

Um.

NOT that I'm ageist, but, dude, she's 45. The heroine was significantly younger.

The hero is this guy, who admittedly looks pretty good in this pic, but in most of the other pictures I saw, looks pretty smarmy.

Why don't they let ME cast movies? I promise they wouldn't all be Gerard Butler/George Clooney/Denny Duquette. Though, you know, they'd be my top three choices. And the heroines would be Inara from Firefly, the actress from Rent, Veronica Mars, maybe Charisma Carpenter.

Seriously, I'd be really good at it.

BTW, What, No Roses is pretty darn good. I'd enjoyed A Connecticut Fashionista in King Arthur's Court, so I picked up this one, too, and I'm not disappointed. Time travel to the 1920s. Fun! I liked the talking rat in Michelle Rowen's Angel with Attitude better, though.

No Supernatural yesterday, but I did get Beowulf and Grendel. I need a mental health/movie day.

Is that Jonathan Schaech (sp?)? I like him but he's about 10 years younger than Heather Locklear. And seriously? Heather Locklear? She's not exactly a great actress and while I'm all for older actresses getting good roles, can't they at least give it to the older actresses that can act? And who don't look like bleached barbie dolls from a bygone era? Oh things will be different when I'm running Hollywood...I really need to get on that.

MAN, Kelly, you are GOOD! I had to look him up.

Yes, exactly on Heather Locklear. Remember when Donna Mills got all these roles? What was up with that?

I got my wish - I'm home. The ds's hand is SWOLLEN! He said it's a mosquito bite, but I wonder. We're going to the dr in a bit. I had to scramble for a sub. If I hadn't been paying bills, I would have been gone when he woke up.

Hope the boy's hand is okay.

I know what you mean about wanting to do the casting in Hollywood. Author Stephenie Meyer has a fun page on her site where she talks about people she'd like to see play the parts in a movie made of her book, Twilight. I think when I get published, I'll put up "movie casting pages" like that for my books.

That does sound like a fun website page, Trish!
