Hooked on a Book, and Supernatural

Loved SPN last night, but Dean would totally know who Mina and Harker were - he's a movie guy, isn't he? I've always loved the old monster movies, and this came at a good time. Called the "monster" and the bad guy, but that didn't ruin the fun.

I started listening to a new audio book yesterday and was ready to give it up, then the author introduced the heroine - ugly and "simple" and now I'm hooked. I need to know how this romance is going to work out. Has that ever happened to you?

I'm WAYYYYY behind on my goals, both the Hot Shot galleys and my Vamp Hunter pages. Need to get busy this weekend. But today I need to make up 3 dances for the school program.

I don't know if Dean would be as familiar with those fine points as he would be with newer films. These oldies are the kind of thing you watch in the dark with the sound off while your younger brother sleeps. :)

Sorry, I can rationalize away most anything. LOL

:) But Dracula was remade with Gary Oldman not toooooo long ago, and Mina was also in League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Stop that! LOL

Dean didn't remember because those movies sucked.

Plus, he had to not know so Sam could explain for all the unknowledgeable people in the audience. :P

LOL! I loved the episode. So many funny moments like Dracula on a moped, "rehymenation" and "Hey there, Hansel." :)

Have to say I agree that League was a craptacular movie, but I actually liked Bram Stoker's Dracula with Gary Oldman.

::::snort:::: Yes, League was awful, and why Alan Moore won't have anything to do with the movie The Watchmen. I just hate when they make Dean look dumb. He's not dumb.

Trish, "Hey there, Hansel" was my favorite line. It doesn't translate well to real life, though, like some of Dean's lines do! My current favorite Dean line is "weird with crazy on top."

Okay, I admit, I never saw the Gary Oldman movie. :)

I don't think it makes Dean look dumb, though, especially because Jamie didn't know who Mina was. It does seem like they could find a better way to do it, though.
