TV

I haven’t talked TV in WAY too long but I've been watching. A lot.

I am LOVING CASTLE. I love the sharp dialogue and writing. I love Nathan and the actress. I love the daughter, and her relationship to her dad. I love Castle’s screensaver- “You Should Be Writing.” I love how smart the characters are. Highly recommend.

I loved last week’s GREY’S ANATOMY, especially Derek’s storyline. I loved when Bailey sent Callie and the major to convince Derek to come back and they all ended up commiserating.

I loved last week’s Friday Night Lights, when Coach found Julie in bed with Matt. I cried right along with Tami as she and Julie had their conversation. I loved how Riggins stood between Lila and her dad when she moved out in a fit. I HOPE Buddy doesn’t kill himself, because that’s what it looked like he was getting ready to do.

I loved last week’s Supernatural. So many secrets revealed, so much damage done. Castiel won me over for sure.

I’ve watched Battlestar Galactica twice now, and while I loved the battle scenes and the wrap-up, but I had a ton of questions left when it was done. Not particularly satisfying when you have to go to the internet looking for answers.

I’m not sure what to make of Lost, Kings, Dollhouse (what a turnaround this last episode, though) or Heroes. 24 is pretty high-adrenaline.

Then there was the Nora movie last week. I loved it until the last 5 minutes. The bad guy was a dummy.

What have you been watching?

No fair. I've been mentally composing a TV catch-up post all week but haven't gotten around to actually, you know, posting it. Now I'm gonna look like I'm copying! :(

(And dammit, Blogger went offline right before I tried to post this and I had to retype it. Blah.)

Nah, not copying....there's just so much good TV right now!! I'm rewatching LOST with the dh right now. DANG!

Damages is amazing and I LOVE Grey's. Can't wait to see tonight's. Lost was great last night. I really need to watch Supernatural. :-)

I've only seen two on your list...

I LOVE FNL. Loved the whole storyline with Julie and her parents last week, too. But I'm seriously starting to worry what will happen next year on the show...all the good/interesting kids are supposedly graduating!

I also caught the Nora movie. Loved HIM, was disappointed with Leann. I remember really liking that heroine in the book because she was tough, sharp and didn't put up with anyone's crap. Leann made her whiney and bratty (IMO). (But I agree...the villain was stupid in the movie.)

Mary Beth, Damages in on FX, right? Those shows are pretty raw, aren't they? What did you think of Grey's Thursday? The elevator? Sigh. And yes. You do need to watch Supernatural. From the beginning!

Elisabeth, I was thinking the same thing about FNL. We already lost Crash and Jason. I guess this new twist will keep Lila in town, but without Riggins....they're building up JD, so he could be interesting, but they're going to have to do more. Landry and Saracen (I LOVE MATT!!!) too will graduate. And Tyra. I love Tyra. They need to interest us in someone else quickly!

LeeAnn didn't bother me too much. Just the dumb villain, who was so easy to figure out. I'm looking forward to Midnight Bayou tonight, though it's not one of my favorite books.

I'm looking forward to Midnight Bayou tonight too, Mary. I'll confess I fell asleep on the sofa during the opening credits of Northern Lights. I'll have to do better tonight. Maybe take an earlier nap. ;)

I love Matt too!!! :( I read an article that said he's pretty much gone next year, while others might still be around (I'm guessing Lila and Riggins.) Seems the kinda wrote themselves into a corner here by putting ALL the interesting characters in the same graduating class. I mean, who's left? JD and Julie. That's pretty much it.

What did you think of Midnight Bayou, Mary? They're replaying all the Nora movies on Easter.

Elisabeth, after this week's episode, I wouldn't be surprised if Matt stayed to care for his gma. That's the best storyline, IMO. Every episode is just so good. 2 more years, I heard!
