But you do have restaurants? Like maybe a diner, like on Gilmore Girls?

Mary Beth, Stacy and I found those handouts - those were great, thanks!MJFredrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06881706931355203700noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13241994.post-42373533492396678802007-06-24T20:16:00.000-05:002007-06-24T20:16:00.000-05:00If anyone in our group went to the New Orleans Nat...If anyone in our group went to the New Orleans National, the plotstormers session handout is in the big book and it's FABULOUS for a one day plot session with several people. We used it at our retreat this weekend.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13241994.post-33533111735780077752007-06-24T13:46:00.000-05:002007-06-24T13:46:00.000-05:00Our little town has NO chain restaurants. But then...Our little town has NO chain restaurants. But then the population is only about 1000, so that's not all that surprising. *g* At least the little town we lived in before had Sonic.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13241994.post-59126314198582782392007-06-24T05:14:00.000-05:002007-06-24T05:14:00.000-05:00When I moved back east from California/Colorado, I...When I moved back east from California/Colorado, I went into culture shock.

In CA especially, there are a gazillion different restaurants and fast food joints. CO didn't have *quite* as many, but it was still plentiful with a wide variety of choices.

New England? No so much. There are two Taco Bells within forty miles of my home. Two. And they're fairly new.

Lot's of Burger Kings, Wendys and McD's. A few Subways. I've seen one KFC. And that's about it.

Places like Chilis? There are a few -- but nothing like what I was used to, and not a wide variety. In my town we have: Two Wendys, One McDs, Two Burger Kings, Two Subways, a Quiznos, a 99 Restaurant, an Applebees, and a Chinese buffet. Oh, and a Dunkin' Donuts on EVERY FRIGGIN' CORNER. What's up with that???

I think what I miss the most about living out west is access to GOOD Mexican food.

Now I'm hungry...LOL!Marianne Arkinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00934613403368823760noreply@blogger.com
