I ordered my son’s class ring last night. Then I cried. How did he get that old?
Then I was online with some friends trying to find something special for the friend who got the bad news. I kept checking my email, even though I have it set for 5-minute renewals.
I got the next 6 chapters of edits from my editor. One scene is a bit of a challenge.
I got the comments back from a contest entry, and while they were good, really thoughtful comments, they shook my confidence a bit. Like I needed that this week.
The dog barked and woke us shortly after the dh came to bed. The motion sensor light was on, too, outside, and Stormy NEVER barks in the house. The dh investigated, found nothing. Still, hard to go back to sleep.
Then Dukey woke us at 4:30, scratching on the door. Argh.
Today, field trip and parent night (only we haven’t actually told the parents, sigh).
At least, no more cooking this week, and I can wear jeans the next 2 days ;)

Jennifer, I didn't get home till late 2 nights, we almost always eat out on payday, didn't have time to go to the grocery store today and there's no food in the house....that's how ;)
