Christmas Books
moar funny pictures
My grandmother LOVED Christmas books, anthologies in particular. She'd start reading them in October when they'd come out. I don't usually fall into the trap, but this year I did. Maybe they'll get me in the spirit (as will the cold front coming in tomorrow night, since we have our AC on tonight!) So over the next few weeks, I'm going to read some Christmas books. This is what I have on my TBR.
What about you? Do you love Christmas books?

Nope. Too much of the same theme ends up making me tired. Even though the books are completely different!
I like them, but I don't seek them nowadays. When I was a kid, and the Little House books were my go-to reading, I'd start at the Christmas chapter and end up reading the rest of the book from there.
Yes, I love Christmas books, especially the ones with a Regency setting. I have about 3 to 4 anthologies and I read them again around this time of year. I also read some contemp stories, e.g., Debbie Macomber.
I also thoroughly enjoy Christmas movies. Several channels have at least one Christmas movie on every night in December. Doesn't do much for my writing time and housecleaning time, but I love 'em.
Lupe
It's been awhile since I've read the same types of books back to back, so I'm going to give it a go as soon as I finish my current book.
Natalie, that's too cute about starting at the Christmas chapter! I loved the Little House books (go figure, right?)
Lupe, my Tivo is slotted with a ton of Christmas movies this weekend! We'll have to compare notes!
