Only 3 pages yesterday, one after my shower, at about 10. I know part of the problem is making the shift from Hot Shot to this, and another is not enough preplanning. I bought a lap desk for my Alphasmart, but the story comes in fits and starts that way. I will try pen and paper today, though that will slow me down. I think this story might have to come out on the computer, which means waking up early to get said computer, since we're down one. I just couldn't get up early today, after being out two days last week, then the weekend. 2 more weeks till Thanksgiving break.

Way to go on the page count. I'm finding every spare minute I can to get the word count up in NaNo too. I often switch between the alphie, computer and long hand. If I get stuck on one I start to juggle trying to re-find my mojo.

BTW, is that HQ by Karen Templeton good? I'm looking for some good Christmas stories.

Thanks, Kelly, Marianne and Mary Beth. I'm falling so far behind, and was gone 11 hours today. Hopefully tomorrow I can make up for lost time.
Marianne, so far it's good, but not particularly Christmas-y. Actually starts pretty sad!
