Fascinating--my mystery,Dressed to Keel ,then has a 79.6 % chance. That is IF I did the survey right--prepositions, adverbs?--ak!
What I found MOST interesting, however, is this bit of trivia: the LULU site that sponsored the title quiz also provides a unique service to writers: for ninety bucks they will (swear) print your rejections on a roll of toilet paper! You know, to "help put it all behind you." ;)

I had a tough time figuring out the prepositions, adverbs, etc. crap too! My mystery, Murder in the Second Reel got a lousy score (39%, I think). I tried two of my fantasies and they each got 59%.
very interesting.
My Intrgiue wanna be only scored a 10.2
THREE OF SWORDS got a 34.8. I'm not sure this is a very good analyzer! At least I'm hoping it's not! LOL
The publisher said sales looked good...for now, I'm holding onto that one!

Ha, next time I'll have you diagramming sentences!! My students are having trouble with parts of speech. That is my goal this year. That, and to get them to stop using apostrophe s for every plural!!
LOL on the toilet paper! That's some expensive wiping!
79.6 is GREAT! And I was happy with 40% for Hot Shot!
This is such a cool little tool... my wip, WISHFUL THINKING, has a 63% chance, so not bad...
All of mine tanked, so then I plugged in The Da Vinci Code - 35.9%
Oh man, that tested my grammar!!
My ambition might be to get a title with 100% chance of bestseller status and then I don't have to worry about the book...right??
Jill, LOL about The Da Vinci code. My YA got a 10.2%! Bah! But the Intrigue got 79.6. Mary, that apostrophe s for plurals just grates on my last nerve.
LOL, Toni!
Jill, good idea about The DaVinci Code! We should try some others, like Nora books.
Go on the Intrigue, Trish! And as for the apostrophe s - I told you that was part of how I tricked Cindi, right??
