To Enter or Not to Enter, That Is the Question

I entered Hot Shot in the Eppies and now I'm debating also entering Smoke. Today is the deadline (don't know why I thought it was Saturday.) Does it make a difference if a book finals in the Eppies, or does it just make a difference to ME?
Dukey seems to be feeling better. She ate a LOT yesterday. Dh and ds have to give her the pills this week - bwahahaha!

The EPPIEs make a difference. Industry professionals are very interested in the EPPIEs. When I wore my buttons proclaiming EPPIE Finalist and EPPIE Winner, I was stopped by a woman who wanted to know what I wrote to be recognized for the EPPIEs. I gave her the one line pitch I'd developed and she handed me her card. She's an editor and said, "Send me something."

Okay, you convinced me, Betty! I entered Smoke, too. Contest season is doing me in, though!!! Yow - the Ritas will be another $80, easy.
