I've Never...
see more Lolcats and funny pictures
I read the Eloisa James article about writing strong heroes in this month’s RWR and I realized…I’ve never read anything by her. I have a book on my shelf that I got at RWA, but I’ve not cracked it.
I’ve never read Christina Dodd, or Julia Quinn or Sandra Brown. I’ve never read Debbie Macomber or Mary Balogh or Georgette Heyer.
I know there are more and when I’m in the bookstore, I think to myself, “I can’t believe I’ve never read….”
Who have you never read that everyone else has?

I've never read James/Dodd/Macomber/Balogh/Heyer either. I've read Brown and Quinn though it's been a while (and it wasn't because I didn't like their books). For me, it would be Laura Kinsale, Patricia Gaffney, Allison Brennan and a host of other mostly historical and paranormal authors.
I tend to be a year late and a thousand dollars short sometimes when it comes to picking up authors everyone else is raving about. But I also go through spells where I barely read anything until I get back on track and because of that my TBR pile grows. Also, I haven't had an author really grab me by the throat and make me want to devour their entire backlist in a long time either.
I've never read Georgette Heyer either. I have read Balogh, one Dodd, Quinn and one Brown. I've never read J.D. Robb (but did read 2 Noras), Debbie Macomber is my Mom's fave but I haven't read her yet, though I have two of her books. Never read a lot of the big suspense authors, the Stephanie Plum series, etc. I've put myself on hiatus from reading romance for a while. I was feeling burned out and needed a change.
I HAVE read Eloisa James, Christina Dodd, Julia Quinn and Sandra Brown.
But I’ve NEVER read Debbie Macomber, Mary Balogh or Georgette Heyer, either.
I've never read Karen Marie Moning, or...blast, there was another name I thought of last night. Kelly, bummer on being bummed out. So what are you reading?
