2. The Garden of Last Days, Andre Dubus III
3. When Will There Be Good News?, Kate Atkinson
4. The Tenderness of Wolves, Stef Penney
5. Nixonland, Rick Perlstein
6. Heartsick and Sweetheart, Chelsea Cain
7. Hollywood Crows, Joseph Wambaugh
8. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Stieg Larsson
9. Old Flames, Jack Ketchum
10. The Good Guy, Dean Koontz
I didn't read any of them.
Dear Author has had lists from each of the reviewers. I haven't read a lot of them, either.
Here's my list, though some weren't actually released in 2008, and there aren't only 10:

I didn't read any of Stephen King's picks, either. But I do have one on your list - P.S., I Love You. Haven't finished it yet, though.
Btw, LASR sent me here and I'm glad. I like the look of your blog.
I came over from LASR. I like all your dogs and cats photos. I never even heard of half those authors, but I guess that's what comes of reading mostly romance. I have a couple of the books on your list and just bought the movie, P.S. I love you.
I haven't read the picks either. LOL! And I don't even feel guilty. How sad is that?
Arriving via LASR. Fun blog!
I think you and I have similar reading tastes! LASR sent me over here. Nice blog!
Aww, thanks for including A Firefighter in the Family. You're sweet. And this gives me a great idea for my own blog post before the end of the year. :)t
I really enjoyed this post and I do beleive that I found some books that I just had to add to my TBR I am so glad that LASR sent me here. Have a happy holiday.
I didn't read any of those either...LOL>..but your picks look good. I did come over from LASR.
Jeanine AKA the Ficster
I LOVED Larissa's Pleasure Unbound. Can't wait for her next book in March!
I'm here from LASR.
Stephen King's list is very eclectic, isn't it. I don't think I'd be able to narrow my list down to ten.
Deidre
How exciting to be the featured blog! I'm glad I had an interesting topic today :)
Margay and Kathy, I loved the book, though it was very different than the movie. Very touching.
Kathy, I mostly read romance, too. It makes me happy!
Exactly, Pauline. Why feel guilty for reading what we love?
Liana, I love your books! Thanks for coming by!
Trish, you deserve to be on the list!
Sarabelle, if your TBR is like mine, I'm very sorry :)
Jeanine, I enjoyed every one, though some took me a while to read!
Michelle, I need to go add Larissa's new book to my wish list!
Deidre, narrowing the list was tough, but I've been keeping track through the year!
