Needing it bad
I love my class, I really do. I miss them over the weekend (next week we're off for TG and I will miss them a lot!) And gone are the guilt-free days off from when I was music teacher.
But last week and this, I've hated going to school because I NEED TO WRITE. I need to. I know what's going to happen (important plot point hit me on the drive to school yesterday), I love the story and the characters, I'm excited about it, I have to get it on paper! (not to mention that looming GH deadline....) Of course, doubt demons are rising, making me wonder just how logical this story is. And I love it so much, I don't want to hear anything bad about it.
So today I'm taking the day off (ds has an ortho appt) and I'm writing all morning. Yay, me!
Also, a cool front is coming in, so cozy pjs tonight instead of AC!

Good luck on your writing day! I'm getting ready to start myself.
Don't give into the doubt demons. I'm fending them off as we speak. Your book IS as good and interesting as you think it is! Others will think so too!!

Thanks, Bosey. I just let myself go on this book, whatever I thought would be cool, no reining back, so we'll see how it comes across.
I did get about 12 pages done, between taking the boy to school and going to the grocery store (one trip), picking boy up from school, dropping him off at the ortho (two separate trips), picking up my brother and hitting an arts and crafts show. I can ALMOST watch Bones and Earl tonight guilt free
I'm soooooo jealous.
i can't take a day off until next semester. Glad you got the pages done. And I hear you on the doubt demons. WHY do they exist?!
