What I Learned From Painting
1) You get what you pay for. I bought cheap brushes for the hallway and they were horrible!
2) No matter how much help you recruit, no one wants to do the cutting – everyone wants to use the roller!
3) Have plenty of Diet Coke on hand.
4) Kittens are not good helpers.
5) If you go up 2 steps, come down two steps.
6) Painting a hallway is much harder than painting a room, by virtue of its narrowness. I was cocky because I hadn’t gotten paint on my clothes the past 2 days, but I got paint on my shirt and my butt in the hall.
7) Don’t let a 3 year old mistake linger.
8) Use the Scotch brand tape! ARGH! I went to peel it off after the paint had dried and it took off the paint in some areas!
This is what I did this AM - I want to stain the bench blue, but I'm out of time ;)
Supernatural was awesome last night, though I figured it out from the beginning. I liked how we only saw the boys' POV the last 15 minutes or so.

Hey, I like the green. And I liked Supernatural last night too. Fun to see Tricia Helfer in a role besides Cylon Six.
That greeen is gorgeous! I found out with red paint, you peel the tape off while it's still damp =(
And yes definitely a good Supernatural episode. thanks Trish I was trying to figure out which BSG character she was!
I love the green, too, more every time I see it.
Amie, my brother told me about peeling it while it's wet, after I screamed in his ear (on the phone) while I was peeling the tape off. I still have some spots to touch up.
