I still don't get how these promo loops work (although I had over 800 messages YESTERDAY. A SUNDAY!) Do you just send a blurb/excerpt? Just jump right in? Fallen Angel Reviews is the one I'm worrying about. And Kwips and Kritiques. And Samhain Cafe.
I need some good news soon....

Mary go no mail if you see an announcement for a promo or author chat day--save yourself the headache. Most groups have the rules laid out--check their group site. Find out what groups allow promo when etc and then maybe if you use Outlook, set a reminder on your calender.
Mar, I write these promo days on my calendar. Then I may post an excerpt, or some good reviews that can also act as a synopsis of the story. I also set my mail to these loops on NO MAIL, and when I go back in to check, I type my pen name Joanna K. Moore into the list search...then all posts that mention me or are about me pop up, and I can read and respond only to those. You will get the hang of this!
