So I'm Thinking of Getting My Hair Cut....
I spent an hour online looking for something I love that will work with my VERY thick hair and not make me look like a fat old lady.
I like these choppy styles, but don't know how they'd go with my wardrobe, ya know?
This is cute, but maybe a little short. The shorter my hair, the poofier.
I kind of like these, but they may make my face look too round. Heaven knows I don't need that. Maybe if I got the second one, but longer. I really like it.
I like this, but bangs overwhelm my face. And again, I'm in my 40s...
I will probably lose my nerve and end up with one of these simpler styles, providing I don't lose my nerve altogether.
I used to change my hairstyle all the time, but now I can't stand to sit in the chair and make conversation with a stranger. What about you? Do you like having your hair done?

I love having my hair done. If I was a zillionaire, I'd have someone wash and style it every day! LOL...
I have another inch to go and I can donate to Lock of Love again, so chop, chop, chop goes my hair in a month or so.
Good luck with yours! I love the looks you posted.
I'm with marianne. I love getting my hair done. I've also had the same hairdresser for AGES (like six or seven years). Get a flat iron--invest in a good one like the Chi. I have thick naturally curly hair and it's the only way I can get my hair to behave and, FWIW i do my hair in 30 minutes including drying time.
These are cute! You're making me want to change my style. And Mary, the key is to find a hairstylist you like and then keep going back to him. Funny enough, my current stylist is a man in his SEVENTIES who owns a salon with his wife, and he honestly does the best haircut I've ever had. And he loves to read (history and politics, not romance), so we have lots to talk about. I love getting my hair done!
GAH!!! An hour and fifteen minutes in the chair - my first time since January - and I was jumping out of my skin! I was going to get my eyebrows done, too, but I'd had enough.
I think it's true to find someone regular to go to, but I've never found one I've clicked with. This guy was good, but didn't believe me about the poofiness. And I forgot to tell him product rolls off my hair like water off a duck's back. Not fun stylin', lemme tell you.
