I’ve also been cooking every night, except for the nights the dh cooks. Definitely saves money there. Also, my dad wants me to come visit him in MN. The dh can’t get off, and we’re already kinda tapped with our planned trip to CA later this summer. Dad said he’d buy my ticket with frequent flyer miles. They have a lakehouse, and that would be a lovely place to visit, don’t you think? But I don’t go without the dh often—in our 21 year marriage, we’ve been apart less than 10 nights. Still, might be fun. I’m thinking about it.

Love the cat picture. It made me laugh. Love the excerpt of Beneath the Surface it is on my TBR list.

Desi, thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you love Surface--Adrian is one of my favorite heroes!
Thought I'd comment here about how much I adore CLive Cussler! His older tuff with Dirk Pitt, especially. Now that he's writing with someone else, they're not so good. I feel like they jump around too much.
Kristabel, I've not read his new stuff. The last one I read was where he wrote himself into his book. Cute. But my TBR is HUGE! Haven't gone back to him.
Just over from Tilly Green's blog. Love book reviews, it a way to find new authors. (new to me). I have put Breaking Daylight on my TBR list.
Lovie, Alex was a tough hero to write, but I got him to come around to my way of thinking :) Enjoy BD!
LOL, MJ, I think Clive wrote himself into every book! Or most of them, anyway. I stopped reading a long time ago, when Dirk Pitt stopped being Dirk Pitt.
I hope you do get to go visit your dad!
Hmm, I only remember it in the one book. Was a few years ago, though.
I need to talk to Dad, I guess :)
Love the excerpt of Beneath the Surface it is on my TBR list.
