Feel Good Movies
moar funny pictures
Wow, I woke up 2 minutes before the alarm went off. Feels good. Of course, on the coldest night of the year so far, someone turned the heater down to 60---brrrrr!!!
Third round of American Title starts today! Vote for Trish!
Going to see PS I LOVE YOU tonight and I'm really hoping it's good. At the SARA Christmas party, the hostess and I agreed we only like movies that make you feel good, movies with happy endings. Some movies I'll watch over and over are the first Harry Potter, the first Pirates, Dear Frankie, O Brother Where Art Thou, Princess Bride Pride and Prejudice and Two Weeks Notice.
What are your feel good movies?

Hmmm...I could watch P&P, While You Were Sleeping, Groundhog's Day, Sleepless in Seattle, and You've Got Mail over and over again.
I like the little romantic movies, lots of them targeted at teens. I just watched The Prince and Me yesterday and thought it was cute.
Thanks for the AT shoutout!
P&P, The Princess Bride, It's a Wonderful Life, When Harry Met Sally, Love Actually... Lots and lots :)
Good luck Trish!!!
Thanks, Toni!
Most recently "The Prince and Me"... I blogged about it yesterday (and find it amusing that Trish mentioned the same movie -- it's not like it's that common!). I love "While You Were Sleeping" and "Ever After". "Return To Me".
Ack.. so many come to mind. But, yep -- feel good, happy endings are what I'm all about.
Definitely, me, too! Several of the ones you mentioned, plus:
Speed
Miss Congeniality
The Matrix (first one)
Galaxy Quest
Robin Hood: Men in Tights
Oh, yeah, I have While You Were Sleeping, too.
Huh, I didn't like The Prince and Me. Wow - something ELSE we don't have in common!
I really have to see Love Actually again. I only saw it the once, and all I remember is the couple who were stand-ins for the skin flick.
Marianne, I usually love the happy endings, too. And when I don't get them, I do like Phoebe's mom on Friends - I shut if off before it gets to the unhappy part ;)
I was going to mention Speed, too, Natalie, but it seemed like it wasn't a feel good movie, though I enjoy it. I could add Lara Croft: Cradle of Life, too, then ;) And I LOVE Galaxy Quest. When they transport that alien animal - I crack up every time.
