Book Buying Frenzy

So I'm now addicted to Fictionwise. The cool is that they offer rebates for most books you buy. The other cool is that they send you coupons. So I've bought...5 books, I think, and gotten 4 free, and I still have over $8 in credit. I love reading on my iPhone. It's back-lit and I can make the font huge. So even though I want the new Michelle Rowen books and Covet by JR Ward, I want them in e-book so I can read them on my phone. I have a 30% off coupon at Border, though....so I may indulge.

I got my final line edits on BD this AM, and still have 80 pages to go on the edits on DLB. So tomorrow, I'm taking the day, opening the windows to the cool front, and working on writing. I want to WRITE, though, hopefully, too. The ideas are piling up.

Picture me leaping through the house with joy, doing a hippy-shake dance...yes, I think I really need more sleep ;)

Let me show you one page of the revisions I've been working on. I've been having a really difficult time working at this level of detail. I can do maybe 10 pages in an hour. At this rate, the book may be out in 2011. Of course, other than Hot Shot, this is my longest book. And every page looks pretty much like this.

I've had them since Monday and I'm on page 29. Of course, I sent back BD on Wednesday and got more edits last night, but still.

Okay, to work. Need to run errands when I get home, then Dollhouse tonight. More excited about Tahmoh than the plot, of course.

Yesterday morning I was on the phone with Trish (a miracle in itself). We talked about RWA as she was driving home across Tennessee. She was just about to hang up when an email popped up ----a contract offer from The Wild Rose Press for Don't Look Back!!!! So now all my GH finalists have been contracted. Not sure when this one is coming out, but I'm so relieved they decided to take it. It's been through 3 editors now at TWRP and finally settled in their Crimson Rose (the romantic suspense) line.

Now, to get my hard drive reformatted so I have my own computer again. I swear, we never can have 3 computers working at a time!

Working on revisions on DLB again for TWRP. Will someday be able to work on historical....too bad I like sleep. 5th grade testing today, so no computer, again.....no idea what I'm teaching other than math and more math.....zzzzzzzzz.
