The post office is considering cutting back to only 5 delivery days a week. When I was submitting more through snail mail, that would have bothered me. Sundays made me twitchy because I got no word.

OMG, I just realized-I stopped submitting so much and the post office started to lose money! Coincidence? I think not!

I got another great review for Hot Shot yesterday! LOVE that last line!

For some reason I'm moving VERY slowly through DLB. I'm to be adding the 5 senses, immediacy and sexual tension. I don't know why I'm having trouble. I'm only on page 45. I want to be on page 90 by Saturday night.

I went to spend my B&N gift card and ended up spending double. Sigh. Then went to get the Christmas soaps at Bath and Body, and gifts for my kids at the dollar store. Expensive night.

I also got my Christmas cards done. Just need my address lables and stamps. And FINALLY finished the boy's driver's ed paperwork.

1) Get used to an alarm again, though the latest I slept over the holiday was 7.
2) Finish up Nano book
3) Work on Vamp Hunter revisions

I got a rave review from one of the teachers yesterday. She said she read my book Saturday morning and she loved it. She said it was so emotional! And she said she didn't know how my hero and heroine would end up together. That made me feel so good. She said she's going to read it again because she was reading so quickly to see what would happen. After school I heard her talking about it to another teacher, too!

Then I came home and found two letters in my handwriting - gulp. But both requests, one for STTA and the other for Surface! Woot! Also got the soundtrack to Vicky Cristina Barcelona, which I may go see again today if the boy doesn't want me to feed him before he goes back to school tonight. I love the soundtrack and liner notes :)

I had to take the boy to Wal Mart and saw Trish's book. I bought one to give to the teacher who'd been gushing about Smoke, and told the check-out girl about Trish, and she made note of it. There were only two copies left after less than a week!

And I am sooooo close to finishing my short story. (It's at 21,000 words....is it still short?)

So I have a Google Alert for MJ Fredrick and this morning I had a notice that Mrs. Giggles reviewed Hot Shot.

GULP.

She didn't like Gabe, but gave me a 77. Here's the review. It's just another rite of passage. Interesting she mentioned ER, though, since Clooney was the inspiration.

I managed 3 pages last night in between picking son up from school, taking son to band practice, picking up dinner for myself (because dh also had band practice) then picking ds up from band practice. It takes me as long to get to the kid's house where they practice as it takes me to get to work on the other side of town, so I essentially made 3 commutes yesterday. Listened to a big chunk of Nora's Red Lily.

The week isn't looking any easier, either.
