Guilt and your daily Gerry
I didn't go to my chapter meeting last night and I feel guilty because I'm the librarian. But I was sooooo tired. I need to hand off the job, because it's too much like, well, a job. I want to WANT to go to my chapter meetings, not have to go.
I have duty this morning - switched with another teacher - so I had better run. At least the kids are testing this morning. That's a break for me.

When what you really should feel guilty about is tagging!!! : )
Don't feel guilty, Mar. You weren't feeling well, and I said that when asked last night. Sometimes you just gotta take care of YOU, cher.
Hugs,
J
Jill, :P It wasn't THAT painful, was it?
Thanks, JoAnn. I was thinking about you not going to the Christmas party for the same reason. We gotta bend where we can, right?
HUGS Mary.
If my chapter met on weeknights I'd never get there.
Hope you're feeling more rested.
I'd rather go on weeknights than weekends. Saturdays are my days to Do Stuff - I don't do much during the week but survive. I don't know why it's getting harder to go to meetings. I just don't look forward to it the way I used to.
Mar, I should have stayed home last night because I was still sick as the proverbial dog. But I seem to be just a smidgen better tonight. Thank goodness for the improvement. I hate being sick enough to feel terrible, but not sick enough to spend all day in bed. Arrgh.
J
I know exactly what you mean, JoAnn.
And of course the dh IS sick....doesn't that figure.
