Bad Time to Quit Watching Lost!
That's all I'm saying.
The dh and I played with the Tivo. We have season passes for:
Prison Break
Heroes
House
Bones
Lost
The Nine (I don't know why - because we can, I guess)
Earl
The Office
Supernatural
Grey's Anatomy
Battlestar Galactica
Remember BEFORE VCRs when you actually had to be HOME to watch TV? My dh tells the story of missing The Little Drummer Boy and being so upset. I remember setting up a CASSETTE recorder in front of the TV at night to record the movie Champions: A Love Story. It's really hard to LISTEN to a movie about ice skating, but it was showing at 1 AM. And I did listen to it. Several times.
Nano ROCKED for me yesterday - 3126 words. And I know what I'm writing today - always good.

Yay on your word count - good going!!
I wish I had TiVo but I'm afraid if I did, I'd never leave the house because I'd be catching up on all the shows and movies I wanted to see!!
Lost. Kate. Sawyer. Ahhhh.
No TiVo for me, either. I'm trying to break my TV habit, not feed it. :)
Paula (who had a nice Sawyer dream last night)
I wish I had TiVo. Oh well, I manage with both the VCR and the DVD recorder. :)
Your story about the dh missing The Little Drummer Boy reminded me of one year when I was, oh, probably about seven or eight, I was upset about possibly missing Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer because we going up to the local auction joint. Clever people there realized the little kids would be more apt to behave if they tuned a TV that was on the auction block later on that night to old Rudolph. *g*
I wish I had TiVo too.
It is in Canada now, but not sure I can afford it yet LOL.
Thanks, y'all!
I remember when we got digital cable - we were in the living room for HOURS! I'm sure the novelty will wear off. And it will come in handy next week, when I'll be lucky not to lose my mind.
Woo Hoo on your NaNo word count!!
We don't have TiVo, but we're looking into getting it. I'm getting tired of missing Grey's Anatomy because we get home too late!
keep up the good work!
That was an excellent love scene. But I still hate Lost though. LOL!
April, we didn't buy the machine. We got it through the Tivo site and only pay for the service, which is cheaper than it would have been to get the DVR through our cable company, and Tivo has more options!
Tanya, LOL. But, DANG, that was hot. Did NOT help my state of mind yesterday at all.
